Stomach Fat Has Got Way Out Of Hand!
Hi
“A reader asks”,
“My big problem area is my fat stomach. It has gotten WAY out of hand. It’s not from drinking beer, because I’m not a drinker. I normally don’t overeat either. I think the root cause lies in my genetics, because my mother always had the same poochy belly.
It’s frustrating. My stomach doesn’t even match the rest of my body! I have relatively little body fat on my limbs, butt, or other areas. I’m at a comfortable weight, and I don’t really need to lose inches elsewhere. I just need to get rid of this big stomach!
Does anyone have any tips or suggestions on supplements or diets that target fat in this area? Will I have to get lipo? I’m open to all ideas.”

Great question! Thanks Man for asking.
This brings up a common issue for men. Just because you are struggling doesn’t mean it’s something wrong with you! Most men over 50 have a build up of belly fat. The reasons are many, the cause is generally diet and exercise or the lack of it.
You may, indeed, be a ‘victim’ of your genetics however what you put into your mouth plays a big role especially simple carbohydrates like (baked goods, white bread, ice cream, cookies, cake, sodas, white rice, candy etc. They all go to the waistline and are implicated in weight gain (beer belly comes from a diet high in simple carbohydrates.
I use to have a business where I was on my feet all the time. A few years ago I got a position where I sit at a computer. I would have too much coffee and eat way too much. I wasn’t burning energy like I was before.
A glass or two of wine at night and not enough exercise. It wasn’t long before I had a problem with my beer belly. I recently decided to find a way to eliminate it. However as you get older reshaping your body gets harder and takes longer.
You asked about lipo….
There are two types of fat — subcutaneous and visceral. Subcutaneous fat is right underneath the skin; the second is deeper and more dangerous as it is around the organs of the body. Exercise and a good diet shrink both and usually the visceral fat first.
Liposuction, you mentioned, is often used to remove subcutaneous fat. Man, If I were you I WOULD NOT want this done to me.
I would be exercising and adhering to a healthy diet and lifestyle as you have a problem with the belly fat it is best to get to the “CAUSE”. The benefits to your health and life will be immense.
However, if you simply get the “LIPOSUCTION” you will be working on a quick band aide remedy that does not address the other issues with diet and visceral fat.
Plus the added benefit of exercise is that it will stimulate hormones that strip away fat from all over your body. This alone will help everything from energy to strength and the calming effect on your nervous system.
Just remember you can not simple target belly fat by doing sit ups, you need a total workout. These types of workouts always work the fastest and are more enjoyable.
And that is why I recommend Getting Shrunkit’s Newsletter for men over 50. There are ideas here to fast track your way to an ideal body.
